Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
