What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
