The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
